Six Marist novices professed their first vows of chastity, poverty and obedience today, on the birthday of our founder Saint Marcellin Champagnat, 20th of May. It was held at Golden Jubille Hall of the Immaculate Concepcion Novitiate, known also as Tamontaka Novitiate at Datu Odin Sinsuat in Maguindanao.

The First Profession of Vows was presided by Fr. Rizalde Orola, together with the other priests. Brother Manuel de Leon, the Provincial Delegate of the Superior General examined the candidates for First profession and accepted them as they professed the evangelical counsels. Brother Robert Teoh, the Vicar Provincial, gave the homily/sharing after the rite of the first profession.

The said gathering was attended by different religious communities of Marian Hills, religious congregations of Sisters, Brothers and Fathers, the parishioners, friends and benefactors, and by the parents and relatives of the young newly-professed brothers.
